MADE IN AMERICA CHALLENGEPosted on December 12, 2011 by admin
MAM member Don Dickinson, President of J D Dickinson Compressor Company, and Mike Downie, of Summit Safety Group, a MAM event sponsor, have alerted us to an initiative sweeping the country called MADE IN AMERICA. ABC World News is promoting this campaign and below are several links to informative and entertaining videos about buying products that are MADE IN AMERICA. These videos will make you think about the small things we can all do to help create jobs. Please take a minute to watch this first video before buying your next building and/or home improvement supplies.
If every USA builder used 5% of AMERICAN MADE products 220,000 jobs would be created IMMEDIATELY!

The average American will spend $700 on holiday gifts and goodies this year, totaling more than $465 billion. If that money was spent entirely on USA made products it would create 4.6 million jobs. But it doesn’t even have to be that big to help.
If each of us spent just $64 on AMERICAN MADE goods during our holiday shopping, the result would be 200,000 new jobs.
